The UTEP track and field team will head to Austin to compete in the historic Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays this week. This will be the 88th running of the Texas Relays and is set to take place from March 25-28 at Mike A. Myers Stadium.

Aiyanna Stiverne was awarded her first-career Conference USA Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week honor on Tuesday.

The UTEP men's and women's track and field teams opened the 2015 outdoor season at Kidd Field on Saturday with some very good showings. The Miners tallied 12 first-place finishes during the day-long meet.

The UTEP men's and women's track and field teams will open their outdoor portion of the season this Saturday at Kidd Field. Field events will begin at 10 a.m. (MT), and the track events are scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.

Anthony Rotich ran to a third-place finish (4:01.78) in the indoor mile at the NCAA Championships to earn All-America accolades for the ninth time in his career (three indoor, three outdoor and three cross country).

Three-time national champion Anthony Rotich did what he had to do Friday night; the senior qualified for the finals in the indoor mile for Saturday at the NCAA Indoor National Championships.
