The Miners wrapped up their indoor regular season Saturday afternoon at the Don Kirby Invitational. UTEP had seven athletes set new personal bests on the final day of the meet.

The UTEP track and field team had 29 athletes compete in day one of the Don Kirby Invitational.

The Conference USA office announced this afternoon that freshman Daniel Cheruiyot is the male Track Athlete of the Week.

The UTEP track and field team went head to head with a multitude of top-25 ranked teams. The women's team finished in fourth place with 67 points, and the men finished in fifth with 46 points.

The UTEP track and field team sent out nine athletes to compete in day one at the Texas A&M Invitational.
